    The Press, Volume 20, Issue 12 includes: BUFA has voted against unionization 66-62 with 2 abstentions and 3 late votes, putting the issue of unionized Brock faculty to rest for “six months or 10 years, depending on the faculty.”; Brock campus police tried to prevent Betty Blashill, the spokesperson of the Brock Student Movement, the campus wing of CYUC (M-L), from selling People’s Canada Daily News, the national newspaper of the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist); the confrontation did not escalate, but Brock police issued a notice forbidding “active solicitation of purchases,” signed by Dr. Earp; An anti-imperialist war demonstration organized by the Brock Committee Against Imperialist War Preparations and the Niagara Council of the People’s Front Against Racist and Fascist Violence marched through St. Catharines on the occasion of Remembrance Day; In Ottawa, there is increasing outcry over the situation in post-secondary institutions, with calls for renewed commitment to education funding becoming more audible.
