The fonds consists of two farm account books, two loose sheets of accounts, and one letter kept by Andrew Elliot and family ca. 1815 to 1855. One account book also includes a genealogical record of the Elliot family, with names, birth dates and/or death dates. Biographical/Historical data Andrew Elliot, a farmer, was born in Hawick, Scotland, and lived in Crowland Township, Ontario. He died on Jan, 26, 1857, aged 80 years, and is buried in the Port Robinson Methodist Cemetery with his wife Ann and children.
