    Abstract
The fonds contains the records of the McCordick, Smith and McPherson families of St. Catharines, Ont. The families are related through marriage. Frank Case McCordick was a World War One veteran, local businessman and one time mayor of St. Catharines. His son, E. Frank McCordick, was a veteran of World War Two, local businessman and community leader. Stanley George Smith was the deputy postmaster and secretary-treasurer of the James D. Tait Co. Limited. The fonds reflects the activities of these three families in their local environment and beyond.
