Completed in 1973, the original Physical Education Building consisted of 2 gymnasiums, 5 squash courts, a handball court, and other facilities. Future additions to the complex took place in 1980, when the Eleanor Misener Aquatic Centre was added featuring an olympic size pool, in 1995, when the Leo LeBlanc Rowing Centre was added, and in 2002 when the Walker Complex addition was added. This large addition consists of a track, a 4 basketball-court gymnasium field house (now known as the Ian D. Beddis Gymnaisum), 'the Zone' gym, and various other facilities. At this point in time the Physical Education Complex as a whole was renamed the Walker Complex. The two names will be used interchangeably in this gallery however.
