The letter concerns land values and hopes of a railway in the Penetanguishene area and is dated May 25, 1853. Hamilton mentions an enclosed agreement concerning Jacques Parisian [Praisien], one of the Drummond Island Voyageurs who had settled at Penetanguishene.
