Initially introduced in 1994, the Brock Science Mentorship Program is an annual program that matches Grade 12 students from the Niagara region to Brock researchers in various disciplines to pursue real-world scientific investigation. Students work independently under the supervision of a faculty or staff member to conduct original research starting each September with access to active laboratories and research teams. The Program culminates with presentations at a symposium in February where students highlight their research and share what they have learned. This one-on-one commitment to mentorship by Brock faculty and staff is truly an exceptional opportunity and challenges participants to consider a career in a broad range of scientific research fields.
