Letter to Queenston, from [W. Waters], Cedars Post Office. The letters states that he received the old Yankee lost bill, showing the amount still due. He writes there must be a hole in the balance somewhere. He states that the balance shows 50 cents added to the account, but more than 25 cents never came to the office, May 30, 1838. A reply by Hamilton is included at the bottom. The reply is very difficult to read, n.d. Postmarked Cedars[?] 30 May 38 (date handwritten).
