dc.description | Will Cannon and a couple of other skating enthusiasts decided to skate every Sunday afternoon at the old arena [Victoria Avenue Arena?] and they decided to call themselves a club. The Niagara Skating Club was officially founded in 1934. The club had international membership. Club membership was held with both the Canadian and American Figure Skating Associations. Each souvenir program cost 25 cents. The programs are filled with advertisements from Niagara Falls, Ont. and Niagara Falls, N.Y. | en_US |
