Commodore George Henry Seymour commanded the HMS Hero during the Prince of Wales' Royal visit. Seymour kept day-to-day notes during the trip starting in England, across the Atlantic to Newfoundland, through various stops in the Maritime provinces, Quebec and Ontario.
