dc.description.abstract | Mennonites of Niagara, Tape #6 side 1 and 2, Interview with William Andres Jr., Member of Parliament 1974. The interview focuses on the life of Andres from the time his family left the Ukraine to his life in Canada as a politician. This interview begins on tape # 5 and is continued on tape # 6. Tape #6 side 2 also contains the start of an interview with P. Derkson which continues to tape #7. The accompanying notes (for tapes 5 and 6) are attached as well as the notes for tapes #6 and #7. The topics discussed during the interviews include: decision to construct a daughter church, financing Fairview, growth of Scott and Fairview, occupational and ethnic composition of Fairview, identifying with the National Association of Evangelicals, language.
