| dc.description.abstract | A photo album of Millie Hagen’s trip to Niagara Falls in 1949. The album contains 46 black and white photographs with captions. Photographs include the American Falls and Horseshoe Falls; Luna Island; Rainbow Bridge; Maid of the Mist; catwalks on Cave of the Winds tour; and the Spanish Aero Car. The front of the album is inscribed as follows: “Trip to Niagara Falls, July 1949. In Detroit through the Holland tunnel. Through Canada to Niagara and back through Canada. 3 day trip. Would love to go again in the winter sometime. Millie Hagen.” Some of the photographs feature Millie, as well as Thelma Southland and Agnes Menz. | en_US |
