Abstract
The fonds contains material related to the activities of the Niagara Restoration Council (NRC). Most of the material concerns projects that the NRC was involved with, including the removal of fish barriers; the Grassy Brook aquatic rehabilitation project; wildlife corridor enhancement of 15, 16 and 18 mile creek subwatersheds; building stream buffers for Niagara’s rivers; naturalizing Fort Erie’s creek drains; and ecosystem enhancement of Baden Powell Park. Material consists of administrative documents such as minutes, financial statements and strategic plans. Numerous reports related to the group’s projects are also included. Some minutes and reports from the Niagara River Remedial Action Committee are included. Promotional material such as newsletters, news clippings and brochures are also included.Collections
