It was sent from the General Post Office at Quebec to Thomas Kennedy. It is signed by Thomas Kennedy and Alexander Hamilton, Postmaster for Niagara. The document states that Kennedy is to convey His Majesty's Mails of letters between St. Catharines and Niagara. The coat of arms of British North America is at the top of the page. It is signed by Thomas Kennedy and Alexander Hamilton, December 9, 1835.en_US
