      The letter begins with Andrew May thanking Electra for her last letter and hoping that she is feeling better since writing she was unwell. Andrew then begins to tell the story of a woman who had last been seen at the Eagle hotel at the Falls and then had apparently lowered herself into the water "which carried her over the falls as it does all other trash that happens to fall into it she left her two little children locked up in her room at the hotel but come to find out in sted of being carried over the falls she was carried back to buffalo by the person who she went to see at the exchange.
