The collection includes materials relating to Sir Isaac Brock, from individual items to links to entire collections. General Brock, born in Guernsey, came to Canada in 1802 and became an important historical military figure. Sir Isaac Brock is known for capturing Fort Detroit with the aid of his First Nation allies led by Tecumseh. He later died at the Battle of Queenston Heights in the year 1812. General Brock is regarded as one of Canada's greatest military heroes. He is also held in high esteem in his birth place of Guernsey. There are plaques to commemorate his legacy on his childhood home and the local Town Church. The Guernsey Post Office also produced a stamp to commemorate the life of Sir Isaac Brock.
