Each row represents results from a single experiment. 

Animal: Refers to the Animal Identity (used in mixed effects model to denote individual)
Treatment: Control (uncovered) or Insulated (covered) Bill
Ta.C: Ambient Temperature the birds were tested at (degrees Celsius)
Mass.g: Mass of the bird (grams)
Tb.C: Body temperature of the bird at the end of the trial
FlowRate.ml.min: Flow rate of the air for the respirometry trial (mL/min)
FiO2: Measured Incurrent O2 level measured for the respirometry trial 
FeO2: Excurrent O2 level measured for the respirometry trial 
O2i: Level of O2 in air 
O2f: Final O2, adjusted for use in Vo2 equation
DeltaO2f: Not used in calculations
VO2.mLO2.min: Oxygen consumption (mL O2/min)
VO2.mlO2.g.h: Mass-specific Oxygen Consumption (mL O2/g/h) 
Conductance.mLO2.min.C: Thermal Conductance (mL O2/min/oC)
Conductance.mLO2.min.g.C: Mass-specific Thermal Conduction (mL O2/min/g/oC)
PreviousVO2: Oxygen consumption of birds measured at an earlier time (check for consistency not reported in paper)
VO2Diff.mLO2.min: Difference in O2 Consumption between the Insulated Condition and Control Condition
