A four page, semi-weekly paper that was published from 1803 to 1814.
Contains General Orders by Adj. Gen. Baynes dated at Montreal, 21 November 1813, commenting on an official report issued by Maj. Gen. Proctor, including the events of the Battle of the Thames (Moraviantown). He writes that the conduct of the Indian Warriors was misrepresented, and that “instead of retreating towards Machedash, [they] gallantly maintained the conflict under their brave chief, Tecumseh, and in their turn harassed the American army on its retreat to Detroit”.
