The Special Collections include those materials that are best handled separately from the general collection due to subject, security and environmental reasons. The Niagara Book Collection comprises the largest part of this area and covers every aspect of natural and human history on the Niagara Peninsula from its earliest geological formation to the present. This collection also houses the Library’s more rare and unique books and an impressive Masonic book collection.
