Abstract
Two ten pound notes were sent from John E. Martin (Lieutenant-Governor and Commander-in-Chief) of Guersey to the Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of the Dominion of Canada, Jules Leger. In the letter, Martin requests that notes be transmit to "the Government of Canada and the second note to the Government of the Province of Ontario for inclusion in their respective archives". The second letter is a reply of thanks for sending "the first two notes (A000001 and A000002) as gifts for the Government of Canada and the Government of the Province of Ontario respectively." The third letter is from the Secretary to the Governor General to the Office of Premier of Ontario, William Davis. This letter is brief and states that the Ten Pound notes were sent from Guernsey.
